How is Carnaval celebrated in the U.S?

Mardi Gras starts on January 6th and can last until Ash Wednesday.
They eat sea food, corn, cakes, and all sorts of other sweets. One of the most popular cake is the king cake, in every cake there is a little baby. It's usaully plastic, but years ago it used to be porclein or even gold. The tradition is that if you get the slice with the baby you host the next King Cake party.

There are many different kinds of krewes. Some krewes are Rex, Zulu, Tucks, Iris and many others. Rex           Zulu                Tucks    Iris
